Care / Support Worker

Location: London & Colchester

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals at the end of life in their homes.
  • Assist with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and other daily living activities.
  • Offer emotional support to clients and their families during a sensitive time.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing end-of-life care or similar domiciliary care roles (preferred).
  • A caring and empathetic nature with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (preferred but not essential).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

  • Pay: £13.50 per hour
  • Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

  • Experience: Domiciliary end-of-life care: 1 year (preferred) However we can train staff
